Safety and Security
The Campus Safety and Security Department focuses on safeguarding the students, faculty, staff, and property at Lamar State College-Port Arthur. Furthermore, the department provides escort services to vehicles upon request, maintain parking lot surveillance and enforce college regulations. The Campus Safety Officers also assist with safety escorts, battery jump starts, and vehicle unlocks for students, faculty, and staff. The Campus Safety and Security Department has a strong partnership with the Port Arthur Police Department as part of our Campus Community Services to enhance security on campus.
