HYDC 1472 Hydrogen Safety & Process Hazard Analysis
This course focuses on safety protocols and hazard analysis in hydrogen and ammonia production environments. Students will study OSHA’s Process Safety Management (PSM) and EPA’s Risk Management Program (RMP), hydrogen failure mechanisms, and reactive hazards such as metal dusting and nickel carbonyl formation. The course includes training in abnormal situation management, permit writing, and reading piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
