HYDC 1371 Introduction to Hydrogen, Ammonia & CO Production
This course introduces students to the fundamentals of hydrogen, ammonia, and carbon monoxide production processes. Topics include the hydrogen production spectrum (gray, blue, green), ammonia synthesis from hydrogen, carbon monoxide generation, and natural gas pre-treatment. Students will explore market trends, environmental considerations, and the role of these gases in industrial applications. Emphasis is placed on understanding feedstocks, basic equipment, and the economic and regulatory factors influencing production.
