Parking

Students must purchase a parking tag to park on campus. The Parking Fee is paid during registration, online at Student Parking (lamarpa.edu) or at the Business Office. Parking tags can be obtained in the Student Center Room 209 and a receipt is required for pick up. The parking application is available online at Student Parking (lamarpa.edu). 


Disabled Parking


A. Permanently handicapped or disabled persons are entitled to special parking if verified through the State of Texas. There will be no fee for the first Lamar State College-Port Arthur parking permit issued. However, all other rules and regulations will apply. If a student or employee has a State of Texas permanent blue placard or license plate, the student or employee will be required to present this or other pertinent information before receiving a Lamar State College-Port Arthur disabled parking permit.


B. Temporarily disabled persons must pay the full parking fee and obtain a parking decal.


C. Parking decals may be obtained on the second floor of the Student Center in room 209.


Handicap parking spaces are available and marked around the campus with a dedicated Handicap Parking Lot located at 1600 Procter Street in front, as well as in between the Student Center and the Madison Monroe Building. 


Automobile registration fees are:

Fall Semester, $40;

Spring Semester, $35;

Summer Session I, $30;

Summer Session II, $25.
