Academic Advising and Scholarship Services
The Academic Advising Office provides support for students. Academic Advisors or Faculty Advisors meet with students to review degree plans, change majors, and register for classes. Advisors also provide Texas Success Initiative Assessment (TSIA) compliance information for students who have not met state regulations in reading, writing, and math. TSIA restricted students must be registered for at least one developmental course until TSIA requirements have been met.
Students must make an appointment to meet with an Academic Advisor or a Faculty Advisor. Students can make an appointment by using ConexED ™. ‘Walk in’ appointments are available to students as schedules permit.
Appointments are highly recommended. Students should meet with an advisor long before registration begins.
