Department of Safety
The Campus Safety Department focuses on safeguarding the students, faculty, staff, and property at Lamar State College Port Arthur. Furthermore, the department issues parking placards, student ID's, maintains parking lot surveillance and enforces college regulations. The Campus Safety Officers also assist with safety escorts and will provide the equipment necessary for battery jump starts or vehicle unlocks for students, faculty, and staff. The Campus Safety Department has a strong partnership with the Port Arthur Police Department as part of our Campus Community Services to enhance security on campus.
Emergencies: Call 911. All emergencies on campus should be immediately reported by calling 911 and then contact the Campus Safety Office
